Following tradition, the PMS Clan officially announces another charity event!
For the past 15+ years PMS Clan has participated in & hosted charity events for organizations such as The Trevor Project, NBCF, True Colors, and our close partners Extra Life to name a few. To continue this tradition we will continue to host more events in order to help an altruistic cause that is deeply important to our community and the world around us.
This year we are supporting the Loveland Foundation, and will have 10-hour charity stream event on February 26, 2022 on the PMS Clan Twitch channel. The Loveland Foundation works to provide financial assistance to Black women and girls seeking therapy across the country.
According to a 2015 study, Black women have high rates of all forms of anxiety disorders, largely due to socioeconomic factors — such as racism and sexism — and violence.¹
About the Loveland Foundation
"The Loveland Foundation was established in 2018 by Rachel Cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls. Her enthusiastic social media community raised over $250,000, which made it possible for Black women and girls nationally to receive therapy support. Black women and girls deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations.
The Loveland Foundation is the official continuation of this effort to bring opportunity and healing to communities of color, and especially to Black women and girls. Through fellowships, residency programs, listening tours, and more, ultimately we hope to contribute to both the empowerment and the liberation of the communities we serve."
