Costume Up & Give Blood

COSTUME UP, GIVE BLOOD AND WIN PRIZES!

PMS Clan believes in the power of our community support causes and Halloween is a perfect time to think about the impact COVID-19 has had on blood donations. It’s not just a time of candy, parties and costumes, it’s a time to celebrate life and death.

Blood donations have been dramatically reduced due to COVID-19’s implementation of social distancing and the cancellation of blood drives. Why not save some lives by donating your blood and get an opportunity to strut your costume skills?

PMS Clan is hosting its annual Halloween photo costume contest but this year we’re expanding the campaign. We don’t want to limit the opportunity to drive donations, so even if you aren’t a PMS Clan member or don’t dress up, you can still participate and win!

Here’s how it works:

1. Dress up (or not) in your favorite Halloween costume

2. Visit your local blood bank to donate your blood

3. Take a picture of yourself while you’re donating blood or of yourself in a costume

4. Submit your picture via Twitter or Instagram using hashtag #BleedForPMS by November 1st

BONUS: Use an easy-to-use online or mobile image editor, like pixlr that to add your gamertag to your pic for an additional contest entry.

Can’t participate but want to help? Here are some additional ways you can support blood donation.

RULES:

1. Anyone is eligible to participate
   

2. Your picture submission must include:

   1. Yourself in a way that shows you visited your local blood donation site. i.e. outside/inside with the sign, while you are giving blood, etc.
      

3. Prizing: Three ways to win!

   1. One (1) $100 Amazon gift card who submit their picture donating at a blood bank (costume or not)

   2. One (1) $50 Amazon gift card -placing first in the online voting costume contest

   3. Four (4) $25 gift cards for all eligible participants enter the costume contest or donate blood
      

4. Pictures may not make use of overly sexual content, alcohol, drugs or inappropriate images or they will be disqualified. Just don’t.
   

5. Entries must contain the #BleedForPMS hashtag to be eligible for tracking purposes
   

6. Only submissions entered by 11:59 PM November 1st will be added to the drawing.
   

7. Voting will take place from November 2nd-November 4th
   

8. Winners announced November 5th
