PMS Clan is a large organization that relies on community volunteers for our leadership roles.  Volunteering is a great way to gain valuable connections and experiences for those looking to expand their resume, get involved in the industry or make a contribution.  Many of our members have used their experience to move on in their careers, including the gaming industry. You can find our members at companies like Twitch, Blizzard, Ubisoft, Razer, Microsoft, Dell and more⁠—and it all started by volunteering! 

Open Volunteer Roles

Platform Co-General, PC


The PC Platform Co-General General position works hand-in-hand with the platform leader and they will work together to divide and conquer responsibilities. This roll helps covers the management, conflict resolution, and administration of the PC divisoin. A General provides support and training of Division Leaders on their respective platform, overseeing administrative and personnel issues as well as representing the teams' thoughts at monthly meetings with clan and division leaders. What does the ideal volunteer do in this role?

  1. Oversee and maintain all platform documentation, processes and people to ensure division is performing optimally
  2. Actively work with division leaders to identify, assist and push into achieving goals including recruitment, division activity, etc.
  3. Scheduling and hosting monthly leaders meetings.
  4. Quicky addresses or mediates problems, issues or complaints made by members or reports and works towards a resolution acceptable by clan standards. Escalates as needed.
  5. Attend meetings as necessary with stakeholder and leadership to coordinate initiatives
  6. Actively fill volunteer roles in platform and coordinates with stakeholders as needed for public support
  7. Attend meetings as necessary with stakeholder and leadership to coordinate initiatives
  8. Reporting weekly activity and results
What’s skills or abilities make this role successful?
  • Maturity in handling administration tasks as well as handling personnel issues
  • Ability to connect, understand people and determine their motivations and interests

  • Ability to remove personal feelings to investigate, mediate, and see all sides of a conflict to bring a swift and positive resolution

Platform General, PlayStation


PMS Clan is a large organization that relies on community volunteers for our leadership roles. We understand some members might not have the full background or skills needed for a role they may be interested in. That’s why a core initiative of ours is to train and develop people so they can gain experience that translates to real world jobs. If you got the guts, grits wit and determination we are happy to help you learn and grow. No matter your experience, we’ll be there with you every step of the way! PMS Clan is seeking a new amazing individual to help relaunch our PlayStation Division Platform. This role will start by growing one division and building out it's teams and then move on to help push creation of other divisions and their leaders. The Platform General position covers the management, conflict resolution, and administration of all Divisions on a specific platform. A General provides support and training of Division Leaders on their respective platform, overseeing administrative and personnel issues as well as representing the teams' thoughts at monthly meetings with Clan Leaders. Recruitment Manager, Xbox - CoD | BF | Halo | Destiny


PMS Clan is a large organization that relies on community volunteers for our leadership roles. That’s why a core initiative of ours is to train and develop people so they can gain experience that translates to real world jobs. If you got the guts, grits wit and determination we are happy to help you learn and grow. No matter your experience, we’ll be there with you every step of the way! The recruitment manager is a critical role in the clan as it is likely the first impression and interaction between a new recruit and the clan. They are primarily responsible for overseeing the facilitation of a new recruit from start until full member status is achieved. The conversion of a new recruit to a full member will ultimately be a result from their efforts. What does this role look like?

  1. Monitor, answer questions, facilitate information and interaction between new recruits and division members with quick response times through forums, discord or other communication tools
  2. Schedule an initial meeting with new recruits to answer questions, get a better understanding of them and their goals and help ease their transition into a division
  3. Tracking of all recruitment related information, keeping a current recruitment roster and communicating with all recruits through each step of the recruiting process.
  4. They will also be a matchmaker with new recruits by assigning a PMS Clan “Buddy” who can help them ensure the new recruit has a positive recruitment period and feels welcome

Engagement Manager, PMS Clan


PMS Clan is a large organization that relies on community volunteers for our leadership roles. If you got the guts, grits wit and determination we are happy to help you learn and grow. No matter your experience, we’ll be there with you every step of the way! The Engagement Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the reception and perception within the clan and overall Gaming Community along with the initial recruitment programs for PMS Clan . They will generate creative and thoughtful ideas and initiatives that promote positive community interaction and recruiting efforts through activities such as online events, member award and ensure new members have an easy transition into recruiting. This role works with closely other marketing team members and division recruitment managers. What does the ideal volunteer do this role?

  1. Generate creative ideas on how to keep positive and frequent activity in the clan that excites and motivates team members and the gaming industry at large
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to include the marketing team to help assist in the promotion of clan activities through blogs and social support
  3. Works with division experience managers to develop overall recruitment and other activities.
  4. Monitors new recruitment questions in discord and forums and facilitates appropriate connections
  5. Oversees and prepares documentation of member backgrounds to include games interested in playing, competitive levels, etc. to build and maintain a database that helps match players with buddies.
  6. between new recruits and appropriate divisions or other contact as necessary
  7. May assist in finding a clan “buddy” if the new recruit game division does not exist
  8. Quicky addresses or mediates problems, issues or complaints made by members or reports and works towards a resolution acceptable by clan standards. Escalates as needed.

Content Manager, PMS Clan


PMS Clan is a large organization that relies on community volunteers for our leadership roles. We’re currently looking for Content Manager to join the Marketing Team. As a content manager you will focus on creating editorial content to include community news articles, conduct member spotlights, content about video games, interview industry professionals. This role will also design and send email campaigns, and provide copy/editing assistance when other teams need help. This is a great opportunity to get your work published online and start building (or adding to) your creative portfolio as a writer. This role should have industry press badges accessible should they wish to attend events.

What does the ideal volunteer do this role?

  • Prepare an editorial calendar and preplan for both editorial and email content

  • Frequently updating news website RSS to hand select and curate content

  • Produce original engaging content that helps drive and support our goals and mission

  • Generate creative ideas and crowd sourcing for others

  • Strong time management skills and ability to keep deadline

  • Attends at least one team meeting per month and others as necessary to execute ideas

  • Work with stakeholders to include brand, community teams, and division teams as needed to help assist promotions for their activities

What’s skills or abilities make this role successful?

  • Passionate about telling stories, informing people and how to get them to listen

  • Staying up on the latest industry trends and sharing those insights

  • Passionate about supporting diversity issues for all groups and causes

Requirements for this role:

Live Content Team, PMS Clan


PMS Clan is looking for a motivated, creative and outgoing personalities to join it’s live stream content team. If you’re fun, interesting, know how to entertain and are a great competitor we want you! PMS Clan’s live stream is a key initiative we will be building and it’s extremely important we have exceptional talent that can help engage the community and also speak to our mission. You’ve got talent, you’ve got spunk and you have the ability to uphold our code of conduct while playing. Those that participate on the stream team will stream directly to the PMS Channel, hosted on the channel at various times and will be promoted on social communication channels. We want to help build you as much as we want your help to build us!

What does the ideal volunteer do this role?

  1. Working knowledge of streaming and equipment used
  2. Streams directly or is hosted on PMS Clan Twitch channel
  3. Contributes minimally one two hour live stream a week
  4. Works with various PMS creative members to design and edit graphics, overlays channel pages as needed
  5. Attend meetings as necessary with Live Content Manager, marketing or other teams
What’s skills or abilities make this role successful?
  • Deep understanding of the concept of pre production and live production work- that means you don't just sit down and hit a button—you have a plan. What are you playing, what are you going to talk about, what will viewers be interested in, what clan or other initiative should you promote during the stream? We’re happy to help you with this!
  • Passionate about live streaming, the latest technology and how to create engaging live content
  • The ability to delicately navigate the sensitive world of in-the-moment gaming and the inherent competitive nature that comes out while following our code of conduct. We want you to be you but there are obvious lines that can't be crossed.
  • Ability to engage and interact with viewers while playing
  • Expert level gaming ability that would help represent the clans competitive initiatives

Division Leader, ALL GAMES


PMS Clan is a large organization that relies on community volunteers for our leadership roles. We understand some members might not have the full background or skills needed for a role they may be interested in. That’s why a core initiative of ours is to train and develop people so they can gain experience that translates to real world jobs. If you got the guts, grits wit and determination we are happy to help you learn and grow. No matter your experience, we’ll be there with you every step of the way! PMS Clan actively seeks new leaders that can rise to the top and build out new game divisions for our clan that do not currently exist on each platform. They will be starting from ground out to build their roster and direct both community and competitive player initiatives within their divisions. Current active divsions that already exists are on the xbox platform- GoW, Halo,CoD, Battlefield, and Destiny. A Division Leader is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the division management: from recruitment processes, to division practices, to roster information, division community events and competitive play/teams. It is a Leader's responsibility to ensure that all aspects of the division are running smoothly and to be accessible to all members and staff within the division. Division leaders also work to promote a positive interaction through activities such as member award and recognition initiatives. What does the ideal volunteer do this role?

  1. Oversee and maintain all division documentation, processes and people to ensure division is performing optimally
