Ok so my connection has been rly bad lately mainly on xbl and WoW i think im getting interference from other peoples connections is there a program i can download or something i can buy to stop that?

Are you on a public network or wireless network? If not, check your computer for virus/trojans, because thats probably most likely the issue.

i have nortons and it runs a scan every wednesday so its not a virus...also my connection is wireless(cable)

You need to secure your connection with a password so people cant just eat up your bandwith. I am not a techie - so I can't tell exactly how to do it, but I remember when I did it I had to type my IP address into the internet explorer bar and go to the admin to secure it. Since then, NO PROBLEMS - and can you believe TWO of my neighbors asked me for the code????

It is illegal to use a neighbor's connection with out their permission, if you really don't like your neighbor, and find a way to prove that they are using your connection, knowingly, call the cops and get them arrested/fined!

There are programs you can use to see who is using your wireless network, usually they come with the router, I will find one for you, just have to ask around.
