Know the feeling.. that girls that play "something" like once every few months and take half naked pics of themselves holding controllers... there is a name for them .. I'm not going to use it :P

Headsets are different I guess gamers actually know a thing or two about them.. a controller is a lot easier to just pick up.. I know I have many pics with my headsets

Honestly, considering how long some load screens take, I'm not surprised some girls can get a few pics in and post them! haha

I have pics of me in my headset, faceless pics of my holding a controller and the game up on the screen, face pics wearing my Gunnars or a gamer tee. I like showing off the gear I was so proud to buy.

At the same time, I'm not trying to prove my "geekiness" or "gamer cred" by doing that. I prove it when I load up a game and start playing. I think it's completely ridiculous for someone to call anyone out over simply what they assume to be the situation -- no one ever knows the whole picture, or how passionate you are about your geekiness and gaming except you.

There are some girls who do it to relate better to some dudes, and some girls who do it cause they truly enjoy it. I don't think they're fake, I just think they have a different reasoning when it comes to why they game.
