Hi folks,
Member and recruit project voting is here! Please read the rules below BEFORE you suggest a project for the week. The better prepared you are for your build (e.g. dimensions, plans) the more likely it will be to be selected for this week’s upcoming practice! Note: This program is currently in a testing phase. We may be adjusting the schedule or rules in the future to better suit the division’s needs. -------------------------- RULES: Everyone suggesting a project MUST include with their submission the approximate dimensions of the project and either a grid-based floor plan or a descriptive picture/drawing that will allow people at practice to understand what needs to be built. The winner of the week’s voting will have their project available to be worked during practices in the upcoming week (or potentially longer--TBD). Q: How many projects will be voted on each cycle? A: 3-5 per week Q: What will the requirements be for someone to suggest a project? A: Only members who have made their hours in the previous 2 weeks can suggest a project. The staff can submit at least one project from the longstanding list of potential projects, and may include another if more than 1 project voting slot needs to be filled. Note: As of 9/25/11, we are temporarily opening up project suggestions to recruits as well. This is done in order to allow our new wave of recruits to suggest projects for the new town we are created. Q: How do we decide amongst eligible people who get to suggest a project? A: The projects with the best dimensions and plans will be receive preference. After project submission, the division staff will discuss and narrow down the list to 5 projects. The staff/leaders have the ability to disapprove a project if its dimensions are too large or if it uses extremely valuable or restricted materials Staff will then post the five projects in the Recruitment section of the forums to have it voted on. If there are fewer than 3 projects suggested, no voting will occur. Q: How will the act of voting be arranged? A: Sunday: Thread for suggestions in Member section opens. See forums: http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=1655 Tues or Wed: Project submission ends and 3-5 projects are chosen. Thur or Fri: Thread for voting in Recruitment section opens. See http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/forumdi...sprune=&f=1651 Sunday: Voting ends and winner is announced. Note: Project suggestor must have at least 3 votes to be considered eligible to win. Q: How often will we work on the winning project? A: We will work on it as much as possible during the week until the week ends (Sunday). It will then be put on the voting list for our next voting cycle. If it doesn’t get voted on during that cycle it will go on the unfinished projects list. The max amount of unfinished projects is 5 and each unfinished project will go on the voting list. Finishing each project eventually is our goal! Q: When will this voting system begin? A: This program will kick off once we have some suggestions submitted and approved. -------------------------- Reminder: You MUST submit a dimensions and either a grid-based floor plan or a descriptive picture/drawing with your project suggestion in order for it to be considered. Please post questions if you have them. - Damotta Last edited by H2O Damotta; 09-25-2011 at 04:13 PM. |
