These hackers are going to cause governments to try and regulate the internet, and for what? Because gaming companies are starting to crack down on piracy? They need to lay off, buy their own damn games and take on 'the man' in a more productive manner...or at least in a way that's not going to hurt EVERYONE in the future.

but think about it the wii you dont have to pay t play online and the samething with the ps3 but xbox you do and theres no way around it so its going to be harder for them to hack it because of this

When people would mod their Xbox's, didn't that count as a hack?

Even though they weren't taking private information, that still has a negative affect on the rest of the Xbox community.

Governments already want to do that for worse reasons than hackers. As long as consumers stay against it, they won't be able to in a democratic country. Companies just have to stay one step ahead of the hackers like always.
