I'll consider getting BF3 on the PC when it comes out. I've been a big fan of pretty much all the Battlefield games.

The maps are perfectly balanced with defensive towers and offensive weapons, and often matches are decided by the slimmest of margins. This is the kind of game where you call your friends to let them know somehow sniped an enemy chopper pilot or dropped a missile in the last box of gold on a map of victory. The game has benefited from more vehicles, there is almost the same amount on each map found in Battlefield 2, so his teammates often fight over fun toys such as helicopters.

Anyone see the 2 videos from the PAX east? If not then you should go check them out. Also, i'm at loss weather to get this for PC or X360... Just for the fact the game dies so fast cause the new (CoD:NOOB) edition will drop and everyone will stop BF3 and get it... So maybe PC would be best route to go...

I haven't seen anything to make me want to buy this game, sure the graphics are absolutely gorgeous. But the only way an FPS is going to hold my attention is the story/gameplay, and so far i haven't seen enough to make me excited for it. Tired of the regular old boring war games.

BF always was amazing... It makes (lolCoD: Noobwarfare and Crackops look like kids games) I mean you have to actually have skill to play BFBC2, I'm hoping they don't make the aim mechanics "Dead" on and "simple" like every other shooter does, and Skywalker I gurantee the game will keep you for the MP but BF is never about story, it's the online that makes the game so amazing. It's an experience... Not just another "war game/shooter"

Plus, if you get the PC version it will have alot of lasting power, the console version usually fizzles out when lolCoD comes out with another dead horse game, cause lets face it that's all activision has done since WaW is beat a dead horse with a really big stick... I haven't seen anything "Revolutionary" in a Call of Duty game since the customization of weapons from #4... But that's just me...

i enjoyed BFBC2, i still own it for PC, and its definitely more skillful. But idk, i get bored with multiplayer FPS' so easily now, they're all the same BS over and over again with some different guns. I miss GRAW, if BF3 is anything like that games MP, then i'll be hooked

I miss GR2 not GRAW I lost respect for the game when that one came out... I'm hoping Future Soilder is alot better... IF it ever comes out since Ubi Soft is becoming Blizzard Jr. and Pushing games back left and right.

True, most of the time you say GR2 and people are like "wtf is that". As soon as i heard Future soldier was pushed back i was pretty upset, the gameplay they showed at E3 was fantastic, thats a shooter i can get hooked on, but of course it just up and disappears. Id like to see some BF3 multiplayer footage, with HUD and all that, so far HaloCE remake is the only shooter im looking forward to this year, with Brink a definite maybe and BF3 ill decide when i see some MP footage

Ugh another dead horse is the Halo series... Why can't they make one like Halo 2 pre 1.1 when you had to be GOOD? No now it's just pray/spray and the end... Halo is a joke to me, even the single player is kinda drab too, maybe I grew up or maybe it's just I hope it's gonna be good and know to expect disappointment... And ya, Brink looks pretty amazing if it ever comes out, it's kinda like the past 2 years Duke Nukem... (If it ever comes out) and ya... GR2... was SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD... Yet so over looked...

lol, I just know CE is the game that got me into shooters, and a remake with some HD graphics and etc on top of it, oooooo boy. However, theres always the chance they'll f it up, especially if they start changing weapon damage and etc. But if they keep it generally the same i'll be all over it. So far Brink has settled on a May 17th release this year, the multiplayer looks pretty much exactly like Monday Night Combat, but with some single player story and customization, MNC is good, so how could they go wrong lol. Ahhhh i played Duke Nukem last year at PAX, its so god damn funny, i think the creators of borderlands are doing a fantastic job. Ive liked all the GR games that have come out on xbox, its such a different gaming experience, so much more tactical, no run and gun in that game

Ya, now just to get it to the public... And we'll be set... Ya, they always f**k up referbishing shooters and make them so far off what they should be... Atleast imo =( Hence why I smack the sh!t outta myself when I look at my Halo 3 Legendary Edition and just general reg version of Halo Reach I wonder why I wasted my money on them =/ when they suck ass... One thing I hate that bungie does and has done since 3 is make it that you can't play online w/o buying the content... That's stupid... They should just release it with the game and make it avaliable upon purchase... or something to where you already pay for it when the game is released
