R.I.P. Ocean Gate Officer Jason Marles
 Jay was a friend of mine when I was a member of the first aid squad in Ocean Gate, NJ. He was a great cop, good head on his shoulders, and always calm even when things got dicey. Early Thanksgiving morning, Jay was just getting off a late-night shift of spot-checking for DWIs in and around Ocean Gate. He got on the Garden State Parkway in his Jeep and started making his way home, when a drunk driver ran his Jeep into a guardrail where he got pinned and his car caught fire. Police caught the drunk driver, but Jay did not make it out. A vigil is being held tonight at 8pm EST in his memory, so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers throughout tonight while his family deals with this hard time.
