A fan wearing a Miami Heat jersey of LeBron James drew the ire of the crowd at the Indians-Yankees game last night and was escorted out of Progressive Field.

Fans in the left-field bleachers chanted obscenities and pointed at the man Wednesday night during the sixth inning of the game between the Indians and New York Yankees. Hundreds of fans joined in before security led the man out of the ballpark.

The guy in the Yankee's jersey was probably thanking his lucky stars they weren't turned on him... LOL.. Everyone thought I was going overboard on my thoughts about LeBron... Cleveland Sports fans are rough man! Seriously.

A few years back they banned bottles, even water bottles, at the Browns Stadium ~ the fans started throwing bottles and everything else on the field...

Cleveland is a not an easy town, we have no fair weather fans here...

I'll take your word for it! And to be honest, if I went to an Oakland Raiders game wearing my Joe Montana jersey and acted like that guy, there is a 95% chance that I would be shanked. Now THOSE fans are messed up in the head.

He deserves what happened to him. What he did was so disrespectful and done on purpose to piss people off. That'd be like going to green bay with a vikings brett farve jersey. You just don't do those things

He probably knew what he was doing, but people shouldn't be so sensitive. People shouldn't have to worry about being attacked because they're wearing the jersey of their favorite player. Those people were acting like children. There's a reason why we have the first amendment.

He walked into a baseball game to watch the game. When ppl started talkin trash he talked it back. He very well could be a fan of the player, so he can't wear his jersey in the city?
