there's a rule of thumb with VWs.. you wanna avoid the first few yrs of any generation, cause they tend to fix the bugs after 2 or 3 yrs.. so I'm guessing your Golf is from '93-'96. my sister has a '96 Golf 2dr and its a pile. yet my '89 Golf 2dr was prestine inside and out, and ran like a champ I regret ever selling it.. but I'm dying to get just what you have: a Mk3 Golf 4dr. anyway, he's my second love

To post pictures, you'll need the know the image URL. If you don't have one, upload an image to a image web hosting site, such as imageshack.us.

Once you upload it and have the URL, simply put the IMG tags around the URL address. This will look something like this.

Or, if you go to Go Advanced when posting, there is an option that allows you to upload a file. Click on Manage Attachments. From there, simply upload a picture, and the forums will upload it manually as an attachment.

Now im just wondering... why a cavalier? from what i see, all the money you spent on those upgrades to make it faster and more sleek looking... you could have gotten a car thats, well better and faster.

but i will give you props for having an american car instead of an import like majority seem to have.

I resent that knight lol, I'm Asian so it's ubderstandable that I drive an asian import vehicle. If you know what I look like, I would ask, could you see me driving a muscle car? Lol, well I would love to, but it wouldn't look correct. Last time when I just sitting in a mustang, was in auto college, my teacher walked by, looked at me, shook his head and started laughing. Lol but I personally love European supercars over any cars. Lambo and all

lol my bad kuro. i just think if you can have at least 1 american car than everything would be cool. but to each their own and cant really blame some people since some imports are some sweet eye candy. i been tempted before with a Honda... something (cant remember model) but i resisted and got my Chevy S10. (was going through a "truck" phase lol)

and the supercars are a tough deal for me... i mean American supercars are ok but damn some of these european supercars for being a little more cool. especially the Lambo Countach. old model i know but its still my favorite along with the Diablo. if id ever had the choice of one of those lambos or a Ford GT, Ford GT90, Viper... i dont know what i would do.

why a Cavalier? for one, they're reliable. I've never had any issues with the 8 I've owned so far. for two, they look amazing, even with no mod mods. I'm just a sucker for that particular body kit. for three, they are horribly underestimated since the tuner crows forcuses on imports. in that past, I've used my underdog status to take money from ppl who actually bet against my car, without ever seeing it run.. I've even been asked to join import-exclusive clubs. I love being the underdog and with the money invested in this car wouldnt buy me anything faster. these cars respond extremely well to modifications, making it cheaper to go faster.. hell, my engine makes 230whp on only 7psi of boost. thats NOTHING. if I cranked it to 15psi, I'd be at 300whp.. thats enough to take down a Mitsubishi EVO or a Subaru STi... and generally, parts are cheaper as well. I had to explain this to a Honda guy a while back.. simply put, I told him to add up all the money he spent on his mods - motor swap, turbo kit, supporting mods, etc... if I were to spend the same amount of money on my car, I'd be waaaaay faster. plus, tuners have a motto we live by, kinda like a code of honor: "my car was built, not bought".. I'd take much more pride in a car that I took from nothing, and made it something

aside from GM, I do love european cars as well. mainly Volkswagen.. even have the classic VW symbol tattooed on my leg and I also have a sick obsession with the BMW M3

well i didnt mean buy a factory fast one. i meant with all the money spent into this cavalier you could have (for example not a suggestion) bought a Camaro (new or used) and then upgraded that one to its limit. but you like the Cav's just like i like the Taurus (note that i dont race) so i get you now.

and that BMW M3 has been on my list since NFS: Most Wanted. id definetly drive that one with the "Final Pursuit" score blasting lol
