You are probably better searching google, and practicing from tutorials. I used to use CS3 (I don't have it now), I knew nothing to start with, but the only way to learn is to practice and get used to all the tools.

Look for signature tutorials, sometimes they give out free kits that they have made for you to use for personal use.

Premiere Pro is video editting :P But you are right, tutorials are usually the best way to learn stuff.
