Nintendo DSi XL

I picked up a new Nintendo DSi XL a few days ago. Anyone else get one? hehe! I haven't bought one of these since my Gameboy Advanced SP. these DSi's are cool with internet ... how do I add friends? What games are good to get that I can play with friends? I bought Pokemon HEARTGOLD to check it out. hehe!
I bought a handheld for my Easter@Texas trip that starts this weekend because pulling out my laptop in the airport is starting to get old . I may end up buying a PSP tomorrow ... i want sommething with awesome graphics.

Pokemon on the DS is amazing. If the new games work similar to the last generation (Diamond/Pearl) then you'll need to get a Friend Code from people who you want to trade/battle and give them yours.

I recommend after you get a little ways through it to find a fairly active online community. When I had Diamond I just had a text file of the Pokemon I still needed for my dex and what pokemon I had, other people had theirs, and we just traded around and around until it was complete. It took a long time for some pokemon, but was a really fun experience.

As for the DSi XL itself, I just don't like how there's a new and 'better' handheld almost every year. I wish they'd hold off for a couple years and then bring out an amazing one then ones that have little improvements here and there. I sold my DS after finding out the DSi and DSi XL were coming out and went back to my handheld hating. XP

I hear japan skipped the regular DSi ... they went to the XL immediately. The US was the one that waited and wanted the smaller DSi first before releasing the XL. hehe!

Well if anyone wants I used my daughter's name for the game ... in case she wanted to play it. LOL! I may go out and buy the Silver to use mine.

I love my DSi XL! My bf got that and Pokemon SoulSilver about a week ago. It's awesome.

Otherwise...I haven't played too many games on it so I can't really recommend any. :S

I still love my PSP for movies though

I bought the XL about a week ago for something to do while sitting out on missions, unfortunately the only games I have for it are the Brain Age games it comes with.
