Have anyone here bought or tried Rockstar Presents Table Tennis? I'm concidering buying this game, but I feel like this is a game that can quickly become old, since wel... it's just table tennis, and I'm having a hard time see how much variation can be put into this sport. But that can probably be said for several other sport titles as well
![]() I'm somewhat disappointed that Rockstar haven't released a demo from this one yet, as I'd really want to try this one before buying. So, to those of you who's actually gotten to play this one - is it worth buying, or is this a one-trick pony? |

When i buy a game i think about a lot of thing:
Will I be excited when I beat this game? and Will this game keep my attention? Table tennis won't make me excited cuz its table tennis. Maybe the online play cud be good but im koo. And for attention part of it, I don't think I could even last the first round. My brain might ooze out my ears cuz of the lack of excitement |

I'd say rent the game and then decide for yourself.

I would, if you only could rent games in Norway. There aren't really any proper rental services over here, which makes the Marketplace demos much sweeter.

Dude, you just found a business opportunity. Check if the laws there allow you to create a renting service and then boo yah!!! There you go, remember to send me some $$$ when you get rich.

I went out and bought this game, as I thought "What the hell, ain't nothing good coming out this summer anyways", and so far - I'm really pleased.
It's real easy to get into, yet tricky to learn how to master. I've played a bit against the computer, and a lot against my friends - and playing this on a huge TV or projector is an amazing experience. The satisfaction you get from catching your friends off-guard is great, and the game is simply addicting. Oh well, back to the table!

Well, Table Tennis was really fun untill I played a game agains my boyfriend. He was winning, and I got more angry each second. And hat did he do? He just laughed at me. That jurk.
But GangsterPanda, just add me to your FL if you wanna play some matches.

i think all the replies above here expressed what i´ve been thinking aswell..lol
I´ve been hesitant about buying it, thinking it might get boring quick(but then again i play Geometry Wars more often then i play GRAW). Me and my husband tried the table tennis out in the game store though, and had a blast right there and then.(Dude..dorks r us) So i will most likely pick it up this week sometime. I don't think it's amazing, but I am having some fun with it. It is definately reasonable for $40.
