Default My town is flooded
It's insane, I had college today but I couldn't because my street was under 2 ft of water. It's insane. Our public schools are closed tomorrow and probably friday since the roads are insanely flooded.. yeah. I just hope that they cancelled my classes today.

There was a earthquake out in the Gulf Of Mexico today and we felt the ground shook all the way to Florida.

I live in griffith, Indiana, like... 25 miles from downtown :P

Yeah I just hope it doesn't rain anymore or we're screwed. and I hope they clear our roads soon..

Yeah it took me like 30 minutes on the phone with Comcast to get our internet back up. We didnt have it all day, I was withdrawling. lolll.

My street is clear today! yay! I don't know how the rest of the area is doing, but at least we can leave my house now

My profile is private though, but I'm pretty sure I have most of you on my FL anyways.

They declared my area a disaster area and it's estimated that there is over $5 mil in damages, and over 1000 homes were damaged... and these are small towns... My town is about 19,000 people and the other probably 25,000. If that. We've lost a lot of population actually.
