GWAP - Games with a Purpose

My brother just showed this to me... it's a website called GWAP. Hehehe.

GWAP stands for "Games with a Purpose." The games on this site all have a common purpose: to make computers more intelligent. As you play the games, you are teaching computers things that they don't know yet. The creators of GWAP are also the creators of: The ESP Game (aka Google Image Labeler), reCAPTCHA, and Peekaboom.

There are only 5 games because they're fairly new (Launched May 13, 2008) and are working to create more games for their players. There's only a scoreboard - no f-list, no inbox, no forum. You just fill out your profile and get auto-matched by players you set as your preference or players who select your details as their preference (see matching). But again, you get to help make computers and search engines more intelligent.
