Okay I'm drooling over this phone, but I'm not spending the $299 on it when in a couple of months the price will drop. I have the ID and it never leaves my side - I've mastered the art of walking and texting and it allows multitasking at a whole new level

and it is thinner & blue - win win situation, my friend

Okay so funny story..
Sidekicks aren't sold in Canada..
So I went to Michigan to buy one.
Got it unlocked and everything..
Then I decided..I'm not with a company that use's sim cards.. and my plan doesn't end for like 2 years.. why did I just spend 400$?
So I re-turned it
Alright.. I guess you had to be there..
Moral of the story... I love the sidekick.. and after I returned it .. it haunted me everywhere for weeks
I love this phone so much.. in the next two years... its either coming to canada or im going back to Michigan to get it again.

Don't get either. If you want a good phone and you want to be the same as everyone else (thats right, I said it...), get a Blackberry Pearl. They're nice, they're small, they've got an easy-to-learn full keyboard and everyone sells them now. They're like the new RAZR. I've had a sidekick and 4 of my friends and my teacher have iPhones and I'll tell you this ; the Sidekick is clunky and bothersome. It might be better for a purse if you're a girl, but to fit it in your pocket looks dumb and makes it hard to walk and most sidekicks have faulty batteries that need to be replaced. (energy/battery charge drops from 100% to 0% in a matter of hours with minimal use. Turn it off, it'll never turn back on!! ) And as far as the iPhone goes, there's a little something called "tactile response" meaning... the ability to FEEL buttons helps alot when you're trying to type. Have you ever used a really flat keyboard or used a touchscreen computer? Kinda sucks doesn't it? Typing on an iPhone gets old fast and my friends who have them QUICKLY found themselves texting way less than they used to.

take a look at this comparison of the iPhone, the LX, and the Pearl 8120 and 8130. (I love Phonescoop <3) I went as far as to stop using my iPod nano and now I just listen to my Pearl + 4gb microSD card from Newegg. Oh... in addition, if you ever run into deadspots or would prefer Wi-Fi, the newer pearls (models 8120 and 8130) have a Wi-Fi application which defaults to the nearest or strongest Wi-Fi.

Again, I REALLY don't recommend getting an iPhone or Sidekick. I don't want to see someone experience the buyers remorse my friends and I have gone through
