Day of Hell

July 3rd, 2006. 3:00PM to 11:00PM ET for me is known as the day of hell. I was working alone at in my departments (Toys, Sporting Goods, Automotive, Hardware, Paint, Pets, Electrical and Plumming) between 3:00PM to 6:30PM when I got hit hard by really mean customers. I mean, REALLY mean customers. One of them was some women that wanted 30 Feeder Fish (Goldfish). No big deal...so I thought. She refuse when I grab a whole bunch of them in my net. She wanted to pick EACH ONE! It took me 45 minutes to get each goldfish she wanted. omfg Sametime I keep getting calls for help in Sporting Goods and Toys. I can't help them because I am helping this *****. Because I had mean customers before this, I was really angery. My friend that is off today came by to see her boyfriend...and let me know their is mad customers at Sporting Goods. I went off on her. She was shocked that I explode on her. After that, I felt bad the rest of the night until I told her I was sorry and I didn't mean to go off on her like that. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Anyways, I had this nice guy that need help in the Seasonal department. Seeing that toys was next to it. He thought I was in that department also. So, I was with him and calling to get a hold of the Seasonal Department. Sametime, Sporting Goods called for help. I told those customers I be their after I help this guest first. 3 minutes past and they called again. I told them I was having trouble getting a hold of the Seasonal Department and it will take me a few more minutes to help them. They was angry and ask for my name, my manager and so on. I told her my first name. She wanted to to know my last name...no one ask for your last name. So I think this girl is setting me up. I refuse to give her that information. Then, I was right. She then ask for my manager. Who was not their because it was his day off. She then ask for a 2nd manager. She was on a lane and can't help. She ask if I had a teammate. I said no, I was alone. She then said, get here ASAP. I said I am trying. Finally, help came for the nice guest for Seasonal. I went to Sporting Goods and happy to see my teammate have arrive. I said thank god and etc to let him know I was having a hard day. I was on my way to the backroom then...I heard one of those ahole customers at sporting goods say "Shut up Colin." That was the last straw. I never knew the guy and this was the a hole and his wife that requested my name. That was uncalled for. I didn't say anything and went in the backroom and talked with my closing manager. At that same time all my feelings, anger, saddness, stress and etc came at once. I was in tears. I never had so much **** in my life. The girls their and my friend boyfriend gave me a hug ( the girls did) to make me feel better. My closing manger told me everyone is having bad customers..but not as bad that I just got. I was very upset and I am glad I had good friends and managers that are close to me that help me through the night.

I work at a pet shop and I cant stand when customers come in and request hundreds of feeder fish and want to pick each of them out. We have this one customer that we call fingers (his fingers are really messed up). He comes in and wants 50 feeders and picks each one out. He then pays and walks out into the parking lot looks at the bag and walks back in. He tells us that some of the feeders are not healthy and wants to switch them. My teammates and I have finally told the guy that what he picks he cant bring back.

People like that woman who wanted the feeder fish are the kind of people I hate the most. They only do stuff like that just to piss nice people like you off. I'm sorry you had such a bad day yesterday.

Dude.... id totally go off on them... when I used to work at this place... there was always assholes... and my manager knew it too... so when I got called to each section and if someone was bossing me around and FunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny I said to them find someone else to help you and I just walked away... they asked for my manager and I called him and said they want to talk to you...

He told the guy the stop being an FunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunnyFunnyBunny FunnyBunnyFunnyBunny and if he doesn't like it he should just leave... haha I liked my manager when I worked there.
