I would pick the violin even though I would probably suck, lol. I played the flute in middle school and high school, but I really wanted to play the drums. I was also in the pit section in my high school marching band. Kind of miss marching band

I took a piano class my senior year of high school (because I got tired of the flute) I really enjoyed playing. I was actually ok at it.

I completely regretted playing the flute, lol. I wasn't that great (probably would have been better if I actually cared and practiced). Even though I miss it sometimes and think about buying one again, lol. I guess because I played for so long.

I have a friend who was a flutist too and he always thinks about practicing his flute and getting good again. I say get a flute! you will always be a flutist at heart, i know practicing is tough and gathering the motivation to practice is the most difficult. Trust me your not the only one that thinks this way, we all do!

Well, I would say that the violin would be the best choice to learn as it something you don't appear to have learned yet. Let's face it, the instruments in the saxophone family are pretty similar. Also, it appears that you haven't learned any brass instruments. Although trombone has been mentioned jokingly (I play trombone, btw), I would realistically recommend trumpet or trombone as they are both relatively cheap introductory brass instruments, and trombone is fun but requires a well trained ear.

That reminds me of my friend how played flute tried to play tuba (I play tuba as well). Her biggest issue with it was that your head, especially with larger brass, vibrates, but in time I either don't notice it or have managed it through my embouchure. My guess is the first possibility.
