PMS|H2O Starcraft II August Open

Greetings everyone,

Starting Wednesday August 22nd, we will be holding a clan wide tournament that will occur once a month. This tournament will be large in size(hopefully) and give everyone an opportunity to play regardless of skill level, clan division, or membership status.

Format

This will be a 1v1 style tournament. Players will be placed into pools at the beginning of the tournament based on their current league rankings. This ensures that each player will be against someone of a similar skill level (bronze vs bronze/ masters vs masters). You will play everyone in your pool in a best of 3. Each win will grant the player one point and each loss will subtract a point.

The players with the most points in their pool will advance into the play offs. Based on the amount of participation the play offs with either be a bracket of 8 or 16. The bracket will be best of 3s with the exception of the finals which will be a best of 5.

The stream to be used will be updated soon.
I will try to have all matches streamed and casted.

Prize

The winner will receive a prize that has not yet been determined.

Rules

1. No cheating of any kind. (exploitation, map hacking, stream cheating, etc.
2. No BM
3. All replays must be submitted to me via email(knurll1831@gmail.com)
4. Players have three days to arrange and play their pool matches with their opponent. Ideally you should do one per day to assure that the tournament runs smoothly.
5. Must be a member or recruit of PMS|H2O
6. Admins that are playing in this tournament must turn over any issues with their games to another tournament admin.
7. Do no throw your matches
8. The sign up deadline is August 22nd at 11:59 pm. PST

Disclaimer

This will be a large tournament and will hopefully be the first of many. It may be rough around the edges at the start so please work with me as I may be busy dealing with other issues in the tournament.
