I was born in england, raised in england, But I dont consider myself english, just feel no connection to anything here I have no british pride lol.
I was raised on american tv, so I spell alot of words the american way, and pronounce alot of words how an american would, the americans drive on the wrong side of the road :P, (although so do i but thats a different story!) no seriously I cannot think of any other differences, I dunno any slang...I dont think, but then slang changes depending on the area. (Like I said raised on american tv, so im not sure what is british and whats american solely lol)

Geography is the biggest difference. England was our "Mother" country and after the War of 1812 our relations improved so much that were both pretty much equal. Our culture is different because the US has had an influx of immigrants from almost every corner of the world. This had a cultural impact on us. Africans, Latinos, Asians, Europeans, etc., all have contributed to what is today considered "American".
With the Internet the world had gotten a lot smaller and we're starting to see a mixing of cultures snd ides into a "world" culture. This is probably why you don't really see a big difference in our cultures via TV or the Internet. Hope that helps. H2O Alessandro |

Lol! Wow! Time, date, and yr. Im not even gonna strain my brain on that one. Weather, on the other hand. I can only argue the crappy weather we get. Ive never been to the uk. Where im from, we get tornadoes like ppl having babies. Luckily i have not had to deal with hardships of loosing anything from them, yet! Now the straight line winds while driving, hitting fallen trees, or having to clean up fallen trees. These r the things i dislike. Etc. I do dislike driving on ice. Snow is fine, just not ice. I dont have to worry bout it that much, cuz we dont get much if any. Summers here suck balls! Heat index at 120 with the humidity. Just hate it. I used to have to work out in it for 8 or so hrs. I never got used to it. I would go home so wet, from sweat, it was like me jumping in a pool with my clothes on. But, yes im not gonna complain. It could b worse.
