I just had my first interview August 1, 2012........It was a "casting call" at Blockbuster to be a Customer Service Rep. I didn't do all that well, considering I have social anxieties and it was hard since, it was a group interview >.<

I had my first interview last thursday at a boarding kennel and got a call an hour later with them offering the job haha. It wasn't too bad, the actual interview took about 10 min and then they showed me around the place. But just relax, Its not too bad

Dress nicely and speak up, don't mumble. Overall just be confident and just try and show how much you want the job. Like Spartan said, look them in the eye when you talk to them and sit up straight. Even if you're nervous and think it's going bad just try to seem confident and outgoing, make a good impression.

My first interview was for a waitressing job at a dive bar. I was INCREDIBLY nervous due to the fact that i had severe social anxiety. My boss noticed this at the interview and told me to go wait on a table right on the spot. It was frightening but I just jumped in and it went fine. You just have to picture your interview going smoothly...think positive thoughts. You'll do great.

"Act as if".
There's two ways things can go but don't concern yourself on that. youll have a week or so afterwards for it. Do a little bit of research on the company, you might be asked, "why do you want to work here?" "because it seems cool" isn't a good answer. If you read in their mission statement that they take pride in providing an equal opportunity workplace with blahj blah blah whatever, it'll go a long way. Have some good questions to ask too. Reading about hte place you're potentially getting hired at is a great way to prep yourself.

My first job interview was back in July of 2005. I was extremely nervous. Just try not to show how nervous you really are and it should go okay.
Good luck!

Thanks. Would be more awesome if I could get it. This is after putting in well over 100+ applicants in the past year, and I applied to Six Flags almost a month ago, so I was excited to get the news at least but, interviews only half the battle.
