GameStop EXPO 2012 will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. Located on the River Walk, the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is adjacent to dozens of hotels, restaurants and plenty of night life. Stay in San Antonio for a couple of days and you'll have time to check out exciting attractions like the Alamo, San Antonio Zoo, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Sea World. There's never a dull moment in San Antonio.

General Sessions
General Sessions are limited to VIP attendees only. General Sessions will occur every hour on the hour and will last roughly 15-20 minutes each. General Session presenters include Namco Bandai, Square Enix, Ubisoft and Warner Bros.

Dressing in Character
We know that a lot of our PowerUp Rewards members are "hardcore" gamers with a passion for their favorite franchises. If you are attending GameStop EXPO 2012 and plan to dress as your favorite character, please know that absolutely no weapons or any item that could be construed as a weapon will be permitted onto the premises. This includes everything ranging from your dagger with +1 Agility all the way up to Frostmourne.

I went to the website just to verify it's real. Would think that Gamestop would do enough research that they probably could do a real expo for 2-3 days and have people buy tickets. Probably not in San Antonio, or during another event though.

I wouldn't spend 30 minutes making the layout look almost like the info page for the event if it was fake . I wish it was longer too, but this is also there first PUBLIC expo. Also, how would i go about trying to get my previous gamertag under my username? I would like it to read "Previously MommasBodyguard" seeing as back in 2007-2010 everybody knew me by that.

How much is it per ticket? , Classes start around that time, but im assuming this is a weekend.

not sure if it is sold out, but regular tickets are $35 and VIP tickets are $100. VIP tickets include gameplay of video games not yet released every 20-30 minutes on the main floor. But seeing as I will be representing my gaming website (Over18Gamers) I will be asking other people if they would like to interview certain people and give them their 15 minutes of fame. You get free swag, but seeing as it IS NOT WEEKEND (Tuesday&Wednesday) and its only 5 hours I think the $100 should cover the swag you get at the convention.
