I WAS also wet to the elbows, but as that was mostly skin and not clothing, it dried much faster. At least I remembered my umbrella.

Lunch today is provided by Toojay's, who comes to our office every Thursday with a selection of tasty deli sammiches and salads. Please excuse me, as they are here now and I need to go make my selection.

I went with the tried and true dijon chicken salad on challah. It comes with big chunks of tomato and broccoli in it, so tasty. Om nom nom.

I'm out of here today around 4, 4:15 or so, so I can take an earlier lunch. And by 'take a lunch' I mean 2 minutes to go get it and eat at my desk while working. I'd rather do 8 straight hours and skip lunch to get home earlier any day over taking 30 minutes or an hour and being here later.

True that...I'll be eating at my desk as well...but I get in at 7 and still have to stick around until 4:45 at the earliest...depends on how things go this afternoon. Hopefully, no one will need anything.

Packed lunch for me...ham and cheese, banana, peanuts :/
