Need New Computer Mouse

So, I need a good wireless mouse for my Macbook Pro....I don't really want to pay for the mac one (plus I don't like it), but I do want one with a good scroll wheel and a nano receiver....I tried out the Microsoft Mobile Wireless 4000 Mouse and love how that scroll wheel is silent, but read that the receiver burns out in 1-2 months.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'd mainly be using this as a portable mouse at my desk and in libraries to do homework, surf the web, and edit films (I'm not really a PC gamer)...I like my mouse to not be obnoxiously loud, but work well! I'd even consider a wired one if it was good and affordable.

I'd recommend checking out the Logitech brands, they are pretty reliable when it comes to a mouse.

Microsoft is ok, but to me it seems poorly built.
