Let's see.... On the Epic Games Forums for UT3 I have a perma sticky thread in which I used to do game nights and Epic Games would donate swag to give away during said nights. :-P

Yeah, unfortunately, nothing beats the 1999 Unreal Tournament though, I still play that on PC religiously, I saw the news of the new Unreal engine, hopefully they'll consider releasing another Unreal Tournament and try to revive the series.

Believe it or not, H2O Silver, H2O Grizz, Pony PMS, H2O Coolzrox, PMS Bluejay, and myself all met up last night and played together for a few hours. I actually had fun, and it was nice because we're all some what new to UT3.

The community was extremely underpopulated, we started one game, and it was about 20 minutes long, during that time we had four randoms join. After a round of Warfare I left the game to start a Team Deathmatch lobby, and invited all the PMS|H2O. Less then a minute everyone in that last game I'm not kidding, either sent me a message or FR asking to join up with us.

Two of the messages said,

Nice to see some new faces, it's nice actually seeing other people

and the other pretty much said the thing.

I responded to one of them and said, "Thanks, it was fun playing, we're all pretty new and just giving it a try"

he responded with "anytime! if u need pointers on anything like walljumping or hammer jumps etc ill hook u up. we desperately need new skilled players. there r like 30 of us regulars still around. c u soon"

It's kind of sad how dead this amazing series is

We pretty much were stalked by the entire UT3 community last night, and two of them somehow got in our invite only party >.<

Some of them weren't very friendly though, two in particular were talking mad garbage, I can see why those who try to get into this game online don't.
