Default Skullgirls

Anyone picking up Skullgirls next week?
I've been looking forward to it for a while. Looks pretty sweet.

Haven't heard of it but looks a lot like Street Fighter. I got 800 MS points but I'm sure it will be 1200.

Yeah it is gonna be 1200, but it will be well worth it (Especially considering Capcom charges more just for costumes). The combo system looks amazing. From what I understand it was developed by pros in the FGC. Should be great for competitive play.

lmaooooo

I will say this, I am always up for some practicing if anyone is game. Unfortunately, I can't do anything too serious until I get a decent arcade stick. All I have now is the POS Hori Tekken 6 wireless stick and it is only slightly more reliable than the 360 pad.

I've kept up with this since last summer and was going to get it but it's like, do I really, really want to? Fighters are only good if you've got friends to play em with otherwise you're stuck playing against folks who are just way too good for you and you barely survive a round :/ haha

This looks pretty awesome though and wish it made more of a splash.

I know what you mean. I have a couple friends that play, but rarely do we have a sizable group to make things interesting. I haven't played it online yet, but I have played a decent amount of local matches. It is very well made. It is too bad it was so rushed, but what is there is done well. There are only 8 characters, but each one of them are interesting and unique and all are viable options. There are no duds I also how you can choose between 1, 2, or 3 characters.
So far the FGC seems to be embracing it, I hope it becomes featured in more tournaments and weekly events. From what I understand, it has been selling well. I know there are going to be some DLC updates with more characters and fixing some of the bugs. At $15, it is a great game for a very fair price (Especially considering what Capcom charges nowadays just for costume packs!)
If you ever pick it up or want a match or two, drop me a line. I also have AE, UMvC3, SFxTk, 3rd Strike OE, and BlazBlue CS

i have skullgirls, kinda wished i kept blazblue but i never had any1 to it with.
A lot really to do with that i dont like the d pad on the xbox controllers compared to when i used to play guilty gear on the ps2. but ive been enjoying skullgirls and would happily challenge u Grizz to a few games every now and then. at least until tekken tag tournament 2 and DoA5 come out.

Oh and the dlc for skullgirls will also include male characters as well.

I have it, but I suck at it. The only fighting game I was ever decent at was the Dead or Alive series.
