I might be over looking the answer in the handbook or forums, but can an
H2O have a Big Sister or vice versa? I feel like a nub asking this. :I

An H2O cannot officially have a PMS Big or Little sister. The reason being is that the Big|Little relationship is meant to be a different kind of relationship than that of the officially recognized PMS|H2O Bond.

The PMS|H2O Bond will be discussed in Orientation when your recruitment comes to a close. You can start to read up on the policy in the handbook.

From what I understand, Bonds are a lot more than a Big/Little relatioship. I believe a PMS can only Bond with one H2O at a time. I wouldn't worry about it right now, you can have a Big Bro or a Bond until your 60 days are up.

You cannot have a PMS/H2O Bond until 60 days after becoming a full member. You CAN have a Big sib.

Big Sister, Big Brother Program

Division Leaders are required to ensure a "Big Sister" or "Big Brother" is assigned to act as mentor to all new Recruits. A Big Brother|Big Sister is an active member can help educate new Recruits (i.e Little Brother|Little Sister) in everything PMS|H2O, as well as provide an immediate friend to help them transition into their chosen Division. Division Leaders and Recruitment Managers may assign as they see fit, but will consider any choices Recruits would like, if they have already establish a bond within the group. Each Member should only have two Little Brothers|Sisters at any given time, in efforts to make sure all members are exposed to the valuable tools a mentor program enables.

PMS|H2O Bond Program

The PMS|H2O Clan have a historical tradition of celebrating the special bond between a PMS Member and an H2O Member. More commonly, this is known as "Choosing an H2O."
This H2O's is often one of the PMS Member's closest confidants and may be the first person aside from PMS Members they look for when they sign online. They offer to help Clan or Community Members with problems, and are the first ones to volunteer help for whatever reason.
Remember:

PMS Members are not obligated to choose an H2O at all and should not feel under any ‘obligation’ to sponsor an H2O.
H2O Members are no longer required to be “chosen” by a PMS Member to be eligible for recruitment for the H2O Clan. Being chosen is simply a title of honor that PMS Clan Members are allowed to give if they wish to do so.
Members are responsible for the individual they choose to be their PMS|H2O in the sense that it is their duty to pick someone that can live by the PMS|H2O Clan rules and policies, and support them and the Member to their fullest. Members should therefor choose a PMS|H2O wisely as they are a reflection of not only the PMS|H2O Member, but the Clans in general.
If a Member cannot find a PMS|H2O Member they think they click with or feel could positively reflect the Member and the Clans, wait. It is better to choose right or not at all, then have a negative situation due to an inappropriate choice of PMS|H2O.


Guidelines to follow for both PMS|H2O Members

A Member must wait 60 days from the end of her|his recruitment before asking to take an PMS|H2O.
A PMS Member should contact her Division Leader(s) regarding her section of an H2O. The Division Leader(s) will contact the H2O’s current/previous Leader before approving the section to:
To confirm the H2O does not already have a PMS Member.
To confirm the H2O’s age.
No PMS or H2O Member 17 years old or younger may have a PMS or H2O over 19 years old.
If during their tenure as PMS|H2O this age split occurs (ie they started at 16 & 18 years old), the Members should contact their Division Leader prior to the age split occurring, (ie, before the 19th Birthday).
Members should always try to communicate with their PMS girl|H2O guy(s) if they are behaving inappropriately or negatively, as the Member(s) should the one(s) that can influence them the most.
Members should dedicate time to maintaining the bonds with their PMS|H2O’s, but always remember that the there is a necessary “clan time” among each division – both in a competitive and social aspect.
Practices are designed to be PMS or H2O only unless otherwise stipulated by the Practice Manager(s)|Division Leader(s).
Unless otherwise approved, at no time should a Member be leaving Division|Small Team practice or other specified clan time to play with their PMS or H2O.
No Member may forcibly remove their PMS|H2O from the PMS|H2O Clan. Use of forceful or underhand tactics to try to remove a PMS|H2O is NOT allowed, and will result in disciplinary action against the Member.
PMS ans H2O Members can agree to a mutual separation, thus allowing the H2O to have another PMS if he wishes (and that PMS member can have another H2O).
The PMS or H2O Members wishing to dissolve the bond should contact their Division Leader(s) (or General(s) if they are not part of a Division) with the specific reasons as to why the bond should be broken.
The Division Leaders(s) should contact the PMS|H2O’s Leader(s) with their decision for roster updates.
