Question Regarding Gamertag/ID

Okay.

In given time people are eligible for H2O/PMS status after a certain amount of required practice hours are met. They then go through a test/questionnaire and also fill out a certain mission statement, etcetera.

If one is to have applied for recruitment and passed in the 360 console division area, but has a PS3 and wanted to make a brand spanking new PSNID to mimic their GT for XBL, can you do that?

So say, i.e: H2O dastrdly has the Xbox tag, and decides he wants to go buy a PS3. While he signs up, yadda yadda yadda, then goes to make an ID and he chooses H2O-dastrdly for his name, can he do that?

My main problem is, is I don't like my name on PSN. You can't change it, you're stuck with it. If I get my H2O name on XBL, can I just go ahead and make the same for PS3?
