the game had exploits since the begining i know but it still deserved to be treated better than this. now MW2 is only good for Solo or Local play and maybe online private matches (with no randoms) since public matches are now riddled with stuff like in the vid.

shame really, MW2 was my first Call of Duty game i bought instead of rented (first rent was World at War) and i never really ran into much of the hacks that were present at its begining. but since now no one monitors this game it has gone to shiz. whats funny is this one is worse than MW1 or W@W and those have been out longer than MW2. I just hope Black Ops doesnt end like this cause if it does, they better add bots to the other modes instead of just TDM or FFA.

Wow, he straight up got in a helicopter and took off! I went and played some MW2 yesterday, and now its filled with tubers and QS snipers. It wasnt even fun playing it anymore

What's their motivation? They expect most Call of Duty fans to buy a new game every year, and if you don't you're not worth the effort to satisfy. Intentionally making your products become obsolete before they should is a dirty business strategy, but a common and effective one... The same will happen to Black Ops unless they find a way to charge you to keep their game patched regularly and free of cheaters long after its debut. I can see them charging $5 to download a patch, others have charged $5 to unlock content on the game disc already, somehow paying for a patch seems like less of a rip off. Not trying to give Activision ideas of how to treat their customers worse than they already do, though.

Microsoft should impose a minimum service length and standard on publishers. Think about it, if your a new 360 player and THAT is what you see on your first month of free gold membership, would you pay for the year?

The whole matchmaking idea needs to end. Dedicated servers would solve most the issues mw2 and bo have

well the tubers and quickscopers were already there but i know what you mean. whats also bad is that those damn qs are trying to migrate to Bl.Ops.

Just plain wow at that guy...I had to rewind the bit where he just literally got into the chopper, I thought I was seeing things . It is a sad thing to see Modern Warfare 2 may of had it's hacks and glitches but it was still a good game. Is sad to see that the game has gone to the dogs ....

Yea, I knew they were there also, but not as bad as it was. You could have a really decent game a while ago. It seemed like me and the 4-5 other H2O's in the room were the only ones using real guns. After we started to get ticked off and tubing, they all left... Hmm, you can dish it out, but cant take it? lol I seriously thought about breaking my disk, but, decided not to so I could have something to do when I'm REALLY bored. At least in Black Ops, the tubes dont work at the beginning, so no spawn tubing!

Hacks unfortunately a part of every game. But I am greatly disappointed in Infinity Ward for letting this game go 3 months after it released. I think I read somewhere that their contract was discontinued w/Activision, so it would make sense on why they don't care anymore. However, their name is still attached to that game, so I would have made some sort of effort to keep some dignity.

I think the PS3 was mentioned earlier because that video was taken on a PS3.

I'm hoping BO doesn't get ugly like MW2 did because they implemented a video capture feature for every game. They seem to be on top of that too because the exploits have been minimal. Unfortunately, quick-scoping is a tactical method, just like noob toobing, knifing, tomahawks, etc. you name it. You just have to find a way to avoid that. I've definitely seen more quick scopers in the past few weeks but I just take out my noob toob and that seems to work, to counter their strategy.

I played World at War for a long time (up until BO came out) and they patched their exploits pretty quick. And by the way, they should have come out with the name as Special Ops instead of Black Ops. SO sounds better than BO, imho.

Edited to add that I was appalled at that video. Any game developer that cares about their reputation would have patched those things immediately. So sad to see what happened to Infinity Ward.

Lol where did you hear that from? It's still around. Though many of the Leads have left, there is still an Infinity Ward, and they're still working for Activision.
