Got arkham asylum!!!

So i just picked up my copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum (no surprise there) and wow!... i got the Collectors Edition and it is the best. Ill post the pics in a bit just got to re-size them cause i dont want negative rep or an infraction (you know who you are). anyhoo stay tuned... same bat-time, same bat-thread lol


The Batarang (i get some people wonder if this comes off and no... it doesnt... its for display purposes only, just like the Bat-Pod on The Dark Knight Blue-Ray)

The Leather Book and the Manual. (the book is cool, like the one chernov uses in CoD: World at War)

STICKER!!! and on the back it comes with a surprise... but youll have to buy to see

Game Case. no plastic, it slides out and looks awesome lol

The GAME (LEFT) and Bonus Features (RIGHT). Bonus Features are on Blue-Ray and not regular DVD just in case you are wondering.

The Big Case. i might buy another C.E just so i can use this as a lunch box. (i be the only one at flight school with a Arkham Asylum lunchbox lol)

so far yes, gamespot gave it a 9 out 10 and its an editors choice. i havent seen what x-play says but from previous interviews with adam sessler so far it looks like theyll give it a 5 out of 5. plus the demo i played was awesome so yes this game is that good (now i know what youre saying... DEMO? you got the full game!, but if you remember my PS3 died earlier so i cant play full version yet until PS3 is repaired). anyhoo you know i had to spend the extra cause well, gotta support the knight lol

i saw that, i went crazy... i played "we are the champions" after reading it. i already knew it was going to be big and this proves it. (then again im batman biased so no matter what i was gonna think it was cool, but still... time to break out the bubbly lol)

Eye am the knight... Eye pwn teh JokerS... hehehe. I was all over this game as soon as I heard Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill were on board. Being a huge fan of Batman: TAS I have to get this game. I wish they would stop these release date exclusivities, just because games come out on consoles first does not make me want to run out and buy one lol.

It's funny, seems Luke Skywalker joined the dark side after all {joker laugh}hahaha.{/joker laugh}

oh man i was on board when they just announced it without screenshots or any other info, but then again i get exited for every batman game, the only one that really... really let me down was Dark Tomorrow but that one i blamed on giving it to people who have no idea who batman is in the first place. (cause if i remember it was by some japanese developer or something), other than that, i enjoy my bat-games. oh and response to this "Eye am the knight".... there is only one knight, and he is done talking now.

For anyone that hasn't played this game, it is awesome. I had no interest in it until reading some articles and then playing the demo. It's like a Metroid, Bioshock, Assassins Creed hybrid with a little Zelda thrown in.

Do yourself a favor and download the demo. Easily the game of the year.

The collectors edition does not seem worth it to me, I did really love the game though, one of the best ever made.

well for me it was a definate buy because well, i wanna support more games like this and plus... well forum name says it all, there was no way i was just gonna buy the regular version. so overall, CE is mostly for the fans.

Not sure if you've ever watched any reviews by this guy, Zero Punctuation, but he's hilarious! He does a weekly review of some game, and this week it was Arkham Asylum... he is not known for praise, and it's NOT suitable for children... but take a look for a good laugh! And while your at it, I'd suggest taking a look as some of his other past reviews if you've never watched before.

Well I am a big fan, but the cheap knock off batarang didn't do it for me.

i saw some of the episodes from this guy on x-play (they were somewhat censored of course) but i thought it was ok for some chuckles but not really big laughs. i kinda loose focus when he talks cause to me it gets boring. still like i said it gave me a good chuckle.

well of course it was gonna be knock off-ish... you know how many lawsuits might have popped up if they had released it in metal?i mean just when i went to pick it up, other people were just talking about throwing the thing which is dumb. plus half the people i heard saying that were... you guessed it... 11 to 15 year olds and that alone is just dissaster waiting to happen. plus come on, if you a big fan you must have had some knightskills to use it as a template to make better ones. (though i still dont condone the throwing of them cause then the knight will get bad rep)

Just didn't seem worth the price to be, especially after the Blu-ray special edition of The Dark Knight I had gotten.

Mini Motorcycle one.

I think one had batarangs with it that weren't attached to a sand either. Or something involving a pouch.

oh i gots that one, still brand new in the package (got a separate blue-ray so i didnt have to open the Bat-Pod one).

and the pouch thing... if youre talking about versions of arkham asylum it was eather normal or the CE which had well... all of the pictures i posted. i dont think there was another version. if youre talking about The Dark Knight movie, there were a lot of versions that were exclusive to some stores. wal-mart had the two pack with the two-face coin, circuit city had one with i think a mini bobble head and i forget the rest right now.
