IC-ArmA [Armed Assault 60 vs 60]

Hi there lads and ladies.
Are there any ArmA players? If so, I would like to invite you to take a part in IC-ArmA Tournament. Two armies, 120 players fighting each week against each other for control and dominance over the entire island. Join one of the armies in their epic battle and find out what it takes to be a soldier. Third Campaign begins in just two weeks, so hurry up to sign in and to pass your boot camp.

P.S. We are looking for dedicated players who are willing to play as an organized team with a big emphasis on a military tactics. Loners who like to play it Rambo style do not last long on a battlefield.

I've thought about playing this game.. I'm from the Sir. Community as well, which you may know from the Battlefield series, if you played/play it. I've heard it is really slow, long, and drawn out.. which, yeah, sometimes war is.. but even so. Is this true?

Well, that depends on how you look at it. We have a 10-12 battle campaigns, with one 3 hour long battle being played on each Saturday (plus all the practices and public server raids you are willing to attend) , so it makes it a 3 month long tournament. Is it long or slow? You decide. As for drawn out... well, we had campaigns where it was obvious who will be the winner in the middle of the campaign. On such occasions we may play non-standard scenarios (like D-Day beach landing). And we had campaigns where the last battle was decisive for both armies. Again, it all depends on how do you look at it.

No. All you need is:
Armed Assault 1.08 (Queens Gambit addon not required)
Latest version of IC-ArmA addon which can be downloaded from our server
TeamSpeak
and a working mic
