Woot! Games that let you play as a girl!

I have a new article on the PMS site, Games that let you play as a girl! I thought it would be a good one since so many games out there make you play as a guy whether you want to or not.

Please comment on the article if I missed any of your favorites, if there are a lot people like that didn't make the first cut, I might do a follow up of "Even more games that let you play as a girl!"

tbh im not a girl obviously, but i wouldnt mind playing as a female soldier on a new Call of duty game and such. would be awesome imo

Mirrors edge is probably the first female protagonist I have really felt was an excellent character in a video game for at least the last 5 years. Its like...she's female, not unusually proportioned, and kicks ass without running around saying "omg i'm a girl!" in any way. I like.

I agree. That game is so much fun. But hey, Fable lets you play as a girl. And the sims lets you play and live out the life of a girl too. Then again, in the sims, you can play as the man and the woman and their child all at the same time. Heh...

and kinda off topic but why does jenstar have the title icon for an H2o Operations when she is a PMS operations?

Great article Jenstar, I too would like to be a bada$$ girl in COD4, wouldn't that be great! I don't think I'd be saying "omg I'm a girl, though!" lol That's hilarious though Rip, I do know what you mean, they always seem to make them to be similar to the girl in the movie Clueless....lol

rainbow six vegas 2 lets u choose a gender for online play nd in the story

Mirror's Edge and Samus are my two favorite female characters.

PS: Mirror's Edge was by far one of the best original games of the year.

And as a trial game (it was created to test the genre, to see if there was a market for it at all), it succeeded. There are 2-3 more planned, with at least 1 already in production.

I already posted a reply on the actual article, but I figured I would post on here as well for anyone who isn't reading the article/comments on article.

I love Tenchu Z, and it lets you choose whether your role is played by a male or female ninja. You can also choose how they are dressed, so they can be dressed seductively or you can cover them up a bit more..

They are coming out with a new game with a female character called WET. It looks pretty kool. She gets to hop from cars while shooting people. I'm wanting to look into it.
