Hi from Belgium!
I admid! I'm a bit bored right now and thats why I decided to browse some forums. Too tired to play right now
 And honestly what's more fun than talk about yourself? haha  Here we go! So I'm bieke.. my nickname is also my real name .. yes! it says Bieke Nijs on my passport! I got 2 sisters 1 dog 2 birds .... ok you know what? I'll only talk about my gaming life! I started playing counterstrike aaages ago because of my (ex)boyfriend who was in that time totally hooked on it. The first time I ever played was in 2001 I guess but that was just against bots cause I felt like I would make a fool out of myself to try and go against "real" ppl in publics.. But I fastly joined a team called BadGirlsClan. Also my (ex)boyfriend was working for CPL so I went to CPL Holland (May 2001) and Berlin (August 2001) as staff. In Holland I saw (yes saw cause I was too shy to talk to them) for the first time girl gamers.. They were quakers! I never saw results from that Lan though.. so if anyone knows who was there it would be nice! I've been wondering for so long! I really played my first lan in Paris 2002 (Lan Arena7) where the first female CS tournament in Europe was held. Only 4 teams! We ended 2nd with dRc*ladies which was a mix of 3 French and 2 Belgian girls. Of course there I felt more in love with counterstrike cause the adrenalin that u feel going trough your body when u are on that stage with ppl wathing you is undescribable. That was the last Lan Arena ever, they stopped for building up an even bigger event which is known as ESWC. Yes they didn't come out of no where.. When dRc died i decided to build my own team M`EraLuna.. and we had several nationalities crossing us, Belgians of course but also girls from The Netherlands, Germany and Sweden. With this team I went to ESWC 2003 where we ended 5th and ESWC 2004. We also went to the First (and last) European Cyber Games in Paris to represent Belgium. Damn now it all seems ages ago! I missed ESWC 2005 but that made me so sad that I joined a Belgian team after it to represent Belgium again with XPT ladies in ESWC 2006. After it I tried to find a new team but I never felt quite at home .. so I quit.. Untill now... Finally I got a team again, PMS owns!! We r playing like geeks and I really see potential in this team... We have just made plans to attend a Lan in April which will of course be awesome!  BTW nmy owns! Hi fellow person in Belgium... interesting story!
Wouters grandmums dog is called bieke ;o im going there tomorrow to tell it to sit and give me her paw in dutch... and to rub her belly!

naaa the words were fine, i just thought i would be a lil awkward (surely thats not how you spell awkward... i must be imagining it...never mind) you played at some event recently didnt you... ? how did you get on?

I'll be going to a convention in Holland next weekend and i'm quite nervouse atm since i'll be going alone! normally i got 4 other teammates that are there! hehe
and naaah i didnt make a double! maybe its the blog i wrote about joining pms etc? ye i like to write about myself i know ... !

hmmm not sure about the blog... sure it was on the forums... but never mind...
but... your going to holland on your own... as in like no friends around you either... im sure you'll be fine, by the looks of things by your profile its only in the country next door so at least its only a train ride home.... but hey good look with that.. i'm thinking of having a lil tour round america next summer on my own... but hey i think i might just jump in feet first and see what happens... i might check out one the mlg events while im out there see whats going on... anyway we're in a comp next week in birmingham with pms/h2o so i'll take some photos, make sure you do with holland so we can check em out.. so where in holland's the convention, i'm there in january with a few friends just a lil long weekend... should be fun tho... speak soon ... laters

haha yeh thats exactly it! ill be without anyone there but ok i speak the language too so no worries of getting lost or something!
on your own a tour through america.. can't u just take me then? hehe though my team wouldnt like it... I'll be going to Cuba hopefully in april.. still need to book it but it'll be alright.. its the first real holiday i go on.. mostly when i went to another country it was for eswc or some other cs thing *geek* Damn id love to go to some Lan with my team! really wanna meet them all but ah well have to wait till january then we will have a bootcamp in finland! and of course ill take pics from holland(its in Utrecht btw)! kamikaze kinda forced me to do that haha oh btw! we all know why ppl take a "lil long weekend" to the netherlands!
