Default Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Is anybody else excited about this game? There is a line here at Quakecon that you can play it and it's awesome. I watched some shows on it where Carmack got interviewed about it and it was cool. I got a shirt that has it's logo on it but it's an extra large, lol.

I've heard good things about it, but honestly with so many good games coming up... I havnt looked to deeply into it. I'm sure I'll get caught up in the hype as it nears release.

I dont know how I'm going to find the time to play a lot of these games.. its almost like I'm buying them just to collect them

Hows quakecon this year? You could always get creative with the shirt and cut it out to hang up on the wall or something neat along those lines.

lol yeah.

It's good I'm having a good time anyways, lol.

I got like 6 extra large shirts and i'm a xs lol, so i will probably find something to do wit h them not sure what yet.

I saw the 40 minute ET:QW demonstration video from Quakecon.. it was pretty interesting.

I'm a fan of the quake series (though not as hardcore as most), and Enemy Territory is pretty fun to watch.. So I think I'll give ET:QW a shot when it comes out.

yeah I love quake I'm gonna play this girl Kornilia (sp?) Tomorrow and whoever gets one frag gets a water cooling system or something so I' m gonna give it a shot!

Kornelia is crazy good - good luck against her! I think I managed to scrape by with only dying 3 times against her (but no kills )

Quake Wars should be lots of fun!! I can't wait - wish I could've gone to Quakecon this year...

i am upgradin my pc to run the game better because I can run Doom 3 eingine good but with that many peeps I need extra firepower.

I heard only PC for now but I doubt the 360 can run that game on good FPS, Quake Wars is liek BF2 with Doom 3 Engine and Add in the Quake Universe.

yeah, as of right now its PC only.. but we may see it on the x360.

The game looks amazing.. did some research on it and I'm very impressed.. add it to the list of 15-20 games I want to get and play, but have no time for.

I'm having a hard time getting excited about id's games anymore - ever since Quake III Arena, I think I've been disappointed with every single title they've released. It's a shame that id lost Romero,most of their newer games look the same - hell, every single game using the Doom 3/Quake 4 engine looks just like Doom 3, which I still concider to look like crap.

id is in serious need of some new blood, they can't keep milking their old franchises much longer. I hope. Give us something new!

I thought Q4 was good. People complain because "its not q3", but there in lyes the evolution of gaming. But whatever, CPL chose Q3 for the 2007 World Season, so i'll embrace it.

As for Quake Wars, there was a video demonstrating it at Quakecon. Its a lot Enemy Territory, thankfully, just boosted graphics and in a new world. I find it hard to hear somebody lost faith in idsoftware after I saw that demonstration video.
