How many of you guys actually sit down to write stuff for your girlfriends? Here is something that a friend of mine wrote to his girlfriend. I think every guy should take a little time and pour out there heart on a piece of paper and let their girl or special someone know how much they really care..................


"Tonight I walked alone, but I felt as if you where there. The wind carried your voice, the sun carried your touch, the water carried your tears. You are the only one to touch me in every way possible. The person that broke walls and burned the city's skylines. I love you, your sadness hurts, but I'm always there you don't know what pains but I hope that I can find that answer, I hope that a gentle kiss and a firm hug while we lay under sheets on a cool spring day with the window open, we will burn out love bright and there you will happiness. Baby I promise you one thing that I will always be there no matter what I love you."

i said this one to my girlfriend, she a poet her self and she likes poetic statements so i wrote this one for her

"today i was so alone today, my heart felt as heavy as the air in my dark room, every peice of memorable pictures melted into the back of my mind as i thought of your smile, the same one that i thought about every night as i look at the moon and hope that your looking at it as well. the same moon of those many nights under the sky with you in my arms. and yet to wonder what if i was not there, to not live again would be more pain full to not be able to here your sweet voice whispered into my ears. but if i were to be re lived into something, i would want to be your tears, to live in your eyes, touch your cheek and die on your lips. no other joy but to be with you always and forever. many nights my love i look at your picture and the same smile comes to my face as the one that you gave me the first time you said............i love you....."

i do write alot but this one day she asked me this
"do you think im attractive"?

"as i hold you in my arms my love, i see no other comparison, eyes so deep you could get lost in them, skin so soft as silk no other can not be dazed to sleep by it. hair so beutfiull and fair only gives way to your gorgeous smile. do i think your attractive? no i think your beautifull, i think your everything and no other at the same time. i hope that its enough to make you feel beutifull for ever, and ill be glad to not have done a good job, for i can try and try again to show you how much beuty i really see, i got all my life"

No thank-you. Every time I do it has the opposite effect and I get dumped for "being too clingy"

im more of a go to her house before she wakes up and draw a mural on her driveway and leave flowers on her doorstep.

actually THATS AMAZING =] and its not that writing is my thing I personally like anything as long as you put some thought from it and it comes from ur heart.

and about the surprises and just showing up out of nowhere and chocalates thats really sweet =] I think surprises r especially the best b/c you don't expect it lol (the reason why it's called a surprise)

Yeah, I try to surprise the one I love by doing little deeds and stuff but I'm always afraid (at least now) to show up somewhere she might be just to give her a hug and kiss. She would probably freak out at me and get mad... *sigh*

But I like surprises on the other hand. It shows the person really cares and that they would go through the trouble for doing something just for you. Stuff like that is really special to me.

Sounds a little too goody-two-shoes from a Hollywood romance, for me. I'm sure it works for some people, but if I wrote poetry for someone, or visa versa, it wouldn't be the type of relationship I would personally ever look for .

Not to say one cant say nice, meaningful, deep and emotional things. Sure. But writing poems I think is too much.
