Quake Live is free to play and download. Although there are subscriptions that get you extra maps, game types and game server options.

As a few of you know, we recently had the Blur Trial for the Xbox 360. Unfortunatly, it failed due to unforseen circumstances. Some people has personal issues, others just didn't have the time.

Well, I'm happy to say I'm posting up a brand new interest thread to see if we can get this going again!! Blur practices were fun and enjoyed by all. Whether we played our own custom game of tag, race online or go on a wrecking spree, laughs were abundant.

Requirements
-Must have 6 people to maintain the trial
-Everyone has to make 4 hours every week during the trial
-You must not have recruited into another division 1month prior to joining
-4 people are needed in practice for it to run
-While Blur is a competitive game, please try to keep the banter to a minimum. I encourage a little, but not enough so every car you over take you start cheering

After doing this trial last time, a lot of lessons were learnt and hopefully this trial will be succesful! If your interested, post here and PM me your email. I had alot of chasing up when it came to emails and it wasn't nice ^^ All I ask is that if you are interested, keep an eye on your PM's as I'll be asking when everyone can practice and stuff =]

QuakeLIVE is one of ID Software's franchised games, Quake 3 Arena put into browser-format via FireFox, IE, and soon GoogleChrome.

I've personally been playing Quake games at a casual level since 1996(kindergarten, the first stepping stone in my epic gaming-life story, not really).

QuakeLIVE, for being a browser-game, gives it that 'play anywhere' feel. Install a plugin on your computer for your internet browser and bam, you're ready to play.

Coming with numerous game modes such as Duel, Team Deathmatch, Clan Arena, Capture The Flag, Free For All, FreezeTag and Instagib for these game modes, each gaming mode has their own set of maps and weapons to choose from.

If you've never played any Quake games, or have but wondering what QuakeLIVE is like, you can do three things...

A. Check out my corny youtube video playlist. Some videos with my movie config, some with my actual gaming config.
B. Watch the pros play here.
or C. Goto www.quakelive.com, install the plug-in, and create an account, do the tutorial and start playing.

If you need help getting into the game, or learning the basics such as timing items, positioning, bunnyhopping, etc, I'm always willing to give out lessons(for free, unlike some people ^_^) to help get you jump started.

I know this game does have a... Ok, wanted to make a clean thread to separate from all the previous discussion just to see where everyone is on this. I know this game does have a particular obstacle, but one that I think can be overcome if people are truly SERIOUS. I personally enjoy this game, and how unique it is from all the other typical shooters. Plus, this game still has a good competitive market out there. That being said, I think we would need to prove everyone was serious about not only starting a division but keeping it running for a long time to come.

So... that being said, if anyone is still interested and SERIOUS about a BFBC2 division, post your tag here and will see if the interest is still there :) I will also keep the running list updated as needed here.
