A Hardcore Look at Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
Thank you for the review! I've been debating if I should buy WoR or just check it out from work. I think I'll just check it out.
thanks again!Posted 10-02-2010 at 09:27 PM by Spifey

Nice article, a very informative review. Even though I'm in no way shape or form a hard core guitar hero, I appreciate the insight provided by one.
Also, oversaturate? I'm pretty sure saturated works well enough on it's own.Posted 10-02-2010 at 08:54 PM by H2O Gotham

I always knew I'd wind up in makeup on the front page at some point. Haha, I guess I underestimated how often you're on the main page.Posted 10-02-2010 at 06:08 PM by H2O Mystakin

How did you find this so fast! XD I agree that for most people the over-saturation of rhythm games has killed what interest they had in it. I felt like that point has been done to death, though, and doesn't really apply to me or people who never can get enough of the stuff. What really upsets me about WoR is not that I feel it's over-saturating the market, but just that it's not a very well put together game lol.Quote:I think at this point we may be in a situation where the genre is really oversaturate. From my viewpoint, if the core game play isn't really changing much to speak of, the songs have to be worth my money - and that's such a tough bet when you can get them individually to suit your tastes through Rock Band.
Good review though, i find a lot of rythem game reviews focused on key PR points that don't really affect me too much.Posted 10-02-2010 at 06:06 PM by H2O Mystakin
