How is this right?

On Saturday night, my friend Kayla and I went out to the bar with my bf, his cousin and his cousin's mom to do karaoke. Kayla and I are the only one's who can't drink so we were the DD's. The other 3 drank for a few hours, did some karaoke. Then we decided we were hungry after the bartender called Last Call. So, we went to Hungry House. Which is the best place I've ever eaten, btw. But, my bf wasn't feeling well when we ordered our food. His cousin took him outside and as soon as they got in the parking lot, my bf puked EVERYWHERE. I'm getting to the messed up part. His cousin came back in to get him a box so he could sit out in the car for a little bit. His cousin also looks REALLY angry coming back in from giving him the box. He tells me that my bf asked the waitress that stepped out for a smoke, he asked her for a cigarette. She looks at him and says "What makes you think you deserve a cigarette when you can't even hold your liquor?", flicked her full, lit cigarette right at him, and went back inside. What exactly makes her think she can treat paying customers like that. Yes, he got sick in the parking lot. Be thankful it wasn't on our table! Then she'd really hate us! It also didn't help that he hadn't really eaten that day, but still. You don't treat a customer like that. Especially a customer that pays at least $50 on food. There were 5 of us. So we asked to talk to said waitress about what happened. Keep in mind, she is the most hated employee in that place. Anyway, she said that all she said was no and walked back in. I don't believe that. None of us do. My boyfriend can NOT lie. He tries, and he fails. He's a terrible liar. He's too good of a person to lie. We called the assistant manager. He wasn't much nicer. He said that what we told him she said wasn't correct. He believes all she said was no. The customer is always right. You don't have to agree with what the customer says, but the customer is ALWAYS right. The assistant manager said "no, the customer is not always right". Seriously? I honestly don't know if I want to go eat there again. If that's how they're going to treat their customers.

I'm seriously about to. That's super messed up. I haven't gotten around to it yet. We tried calling the owner, but he wouldn't pick up the phone or his phone was off. Next step.. better business bureau. i just can't get over it.Posted 05-15-2012 at 04:52 PM by ms gobbles
