Oh boy.... where do i start. well i guess I'll start off with I'm still iffy on the whole collage thing, i mean its different, and i knew it would be different but it's a scary different.i mean it just feels like I'm not ready yet I'm here doing it. I'm just worried that i wont make it, or I'll have wasted money because I'll fail, or do really well but bomb the exam. i mean it feels like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Ok so first day was Monday or yeasterday. all is good i wake up at like 8 or so get all ready, every thing is done, and i sit there, my first class is at 12:30 and it takes me maybe 30 mins to get there. so i sit around at home till about 11. so i head out, and i get there around 11:38 so i'm thinking to myself "cool i have time to look around and such see people from HS" well i walk in, pass my classrooms, and look around in the second lobby, see a person i know, go over start talking to them. and it starts to be around meh maybe 12:15 or so, and i see a bunch of students with their laptops, well me being that one kid that decides to look a place over before taking his stuff, didn't bring his, so i ask a random guy how the wireless connection is, he says its pretty beast. so we talk and it turns out he's in my major, so we have class together. so bam there ya go new friend in the first 30 minutes I'm in the door, ok so we get into the class, and sit down, half of the class looks like its ganna kill you the other seems so-so, so i went with the so-so side, and theres maybe a 30 yr old and a few other students. well the professor comes in, and looks around and shes a 50 yr old retired everything lol and she starts telling us about the class, and F*** this and F*** that and i literally thought she was crazy, and the 30 something yr old guy next me me is laughing his Arus off(as am i) so that class lets out, not bad, now i have a brake between my classes from 1:45 to 3:30 lunch time right? well i go eat prices are nice, food is good. watch some diplomatic discussion on the projection screen of the length of the wall.
ok so i finish eating, and texting respectable people to tell them about my first class and such. so I'm sitting around, and i remember that a friend of mine works at the ice cream place just down the road from the collage, well i drive over and take a look, well no luck my friend isn't working that day, so i get some ice cream and the girl at the ice cream place starts flirting with me, so i get my ice cream and say bye, i sit around with my ice cream and drive back to the collage when I'm done. get front row parking, and walk into the lobby and theres my buddy sitting there reading our pages from CJ (Criminal Justice) class. so i read like half of that, and i tell him I'll see him later, and i run into my Best friend who is in basic's g/f so we talk for a little, and so on and i walk into class. well here is English class.we get in, turns out theres like 3 people from my HS in the class, a guy from my gym class that i ended up calling egg roll all year and a girl named Mandy that has lived next to me for years, and for some reason stopped hanging out with me, and pretends she doesn't know me. (it was a HS thing i guess) well everything in my English class is done on the computer, well good ole English class, the computers don't work, so leave it to use, we have to write about ourselves to present to the class. well we get the computers fixed she explains what we do with them then we continue with our presentations, well so far i know that one of the girls snowboards, there are 4-5 gamers in the class not counting me, theres the 2 jock types, theres the "Playa" theres the one that freaks out and rips up his paper, theres the one with the speech impediment if anyones played Devil may cry 4 you know what i mean( evil bug scientist anyone?) theres the black girl from England, shes nice, talked to her a bit, then there is the girl who speaks 7 languages and the girl that wants to be a nurse, i think her name is Malissa i dono she called me a Bi**h jokingly cause i pointed at her to be next lol (i is so evil) but yea so we finished English, and i ran into my buddy, (he has class at 12:30 with me and then class at like 5 something so he just chills till then) but yea i talk to him for a bit, and yea went home, i mean it doesn't sound bad, and prolly wasn't, but it all makes me so uneasy.?.?

It sounds like you had fun. It shouldn't make you uneasy.. I would just go with the flow... new school etc is ALWAYS that way.. after a while you'll settle into a nice routine and things will be all good. Be glad it didn't go horrible :PPosted 08-27-2008 at 07:45 AM by Anex
