Response to the "Goodbye" posts...
I haven't replied to any of these... because I didn't want to get caught up in this event/drama. But PMS|H2O occasionally goes through periods where a select group of members decide PMS|H2O isn't for them and elect to leave. Seeing these "Goodbye" posts start to get repetitive and redundant.
I understand I may get criticism for this blog, because saying "goodbye" to your friends seems reasonable. And if it bothers me so much, I shouldn't read the thread. And while I think saying goodbye can be done through other means, such as through XBL, PM, Instant Messenger or the Forum Profile feature... I can have sympathy for making a post. I guess. But what bothers me, are the messages that are sent through these posts.
If you are going to leave, do so in a respectable manner. There is no need to put in your last words on the issue you are leaving for. There is no need to get excessively dramatic and irrational. Do not put down this administration in a public post, do not put down the members of this community. Don't try to go out with a bang because trust me, you won't. You all went through Orientation and read through the Handbook. You know what was expected of you, I don't understand the whole "this isn't what I thought it would be..." statement. If you have an issue, send it via PM and resolve it in private.
The most common line I've read the past few days is this; "I have to follow my family." I've seen this on various posts, and it bothers me. If I'm not mistaken, most of you carry the H2O or PMS clan tag in your Gamer tag. THIS IS YOUR FAMILY. You were recruited in, and carry THIS families tag in your gamer tag. So in essence, you are leaving your family- not following it. Please refrain from using this line.
Instead use this line;
I'd appreciate it, and I know every member here, whom I consider family, would also. And if you HAVE to make a goodbye post, because it is SO IMPORTANT to let EVERYONE know you are LEAVING... not that we haven't had people come and go in the past, but if you so INSIST on posting. Say goodbye, remove the dramatic cutscene. And if a group of you are leaving; find the member with the best writing skills in your group and have him write a goodbye post for all of you. List the names, then you can all reply to the one thread, and everyone can say goodbye there.
Like I said before, we always go through periods when members of this clan decide to leave. But this clan still stands today, and many of us have stayed to watch it grow and change. I've only been here for (almost) 2 years, and there are many others that have been here for twice if not thrice that length.
Thanks for reading, and to those of you that are leaving... it's been real. If I didn't get to know you, I apologize. I've been busy with college and ncaa athletics. Thanks for being a part of this family, and best of luck with your future endeavors. PMS|H2O isn't for everyone...

I didn't take the time to get to know anyone else in this clan besides the select few that I played with. I isolated myself to my "friends", and didn't put effort into this "family." I will now be leaving with my friends, and creating my own family, because PMS|H2O sadly doesn't fit in with my personality or goals. I've enjoyed my time here, and I thank you for GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY to be a part of this wonderful community/family. Best of luck with all your future endeavors, and happy gaming.
