Halo Prayer

O’ Halo God,
Heavenly lord of matchmaking,
Guardian of Bungie,
We ask this of Thee:
Grant us skillful fingers and ready minds,
Precise shots and perfect grenade sticks,
And may you look over us,
In our quest for a steak dinner.
Grant us no lag and perfect connection,
High kills and low deaths,
From team killers and trash talkers,
And from those who have bought their 50.
Grant us articulation and quick wit,
And admire our patience,
For even thou the war was fought,
The post-game battle is not over.
Grant us composure in the gloom,
Even when we fail as a team;
When killing sprees and headshots,
Are just a dream.
In any game type
Grant us a win,
Grant us a positive K/D,
As we play, Halo 3.
