Now that I have the right to complains bout my job, I've had a terrible day. Today.. I got told my drawer was $5 short before I left work. I work at mcdonalds. I told my manager that I know for a fact that I'm giving everyone correct change all day everyday. And I know that there were other people on my register today. I was $3 short the other day. I don't want to get written up again. I don't want the possibility of me getti g fired. I know it's not much, but I need this jobso I can afford to pay my rent and everything. I can't afford to lose my job, especially in this economy. My manager told me I was short when se counted my drawer and I was speechless. I really didbt knows what to say. I know I'm giving right change. I know I'm not stealing.

I'm not sure if you can do this or not but when I ring at my job I never let anyone touch my register unless its a manager or front end lead because I'm always paranoid that will happen. Something like that happened at my first job so I know what that can be like. Hope it goes better for you from now on.Posted 09-28-2012 at 12:25 PM by Jump Guy H2O

i use to be a manager at mcdonalds and i know that story all too well. sometimes when a manager makes a drawer they can sometimes not count it right..plus when others are allowed on your drawer is huge mistake. never trust others to give out the correct change. i always felt bad when something like that would come up and fix it myself, not writing them up. i rage quit that job after 5 years and i will never work in the food industry again because of problems i had.Posted 09-29-2012 at 12:30 PM by PMS BooKitty

I only liked 2 out of the however managers I had. I went up there to get my last check today. Since I got fired as soon as I clocked on Saturday. Store manager didn't have it for me and said he would have it ready for me tomorrow. He is really starting to irritate me. Got written up twice for being short on my registers. Then got written up for not being friendly enough and not smiling enough. I'm so done working in food, seriously.Quote:i use to be a manager at mcdonalds and i know that story all too well. sometimes when a manager makes a drawer they can sometimes not count it right..plus when others are allowed on your drawer is huge mistake. never trust others to give out the correct change. i always felt bad when something like that would come up and fix it myself, not writing them up. i rage quit that job after 5 years and i will never work in the food industry again because of problems i had.Posted 10-08-2012 at 05:35 PM by ms gobbles
