Always remember

I was rummaging through a little junk store here by me last week lookingthrough old records and stuff. The owner asked if I was from the area and I said that originally I was from the Cleveland area. He jokingly said "Clevelanders seem to gather around here." Apparently the only other person in the little store was from Cleveland area as well. So the other guy asked where exactly, and I said "A little town called Chardon." He said "I am so sorry for what your town had to go through." I proudly said that Chardon doing an amazing job re-building and that's what makes Chardon so awesome is how we can come together as a community and help each other heal through tragic events. He said that his wife works at a school closer to me down here and that on 2*27*12 after the events happened at CHS, a student went to the teachers at his wife's school and said "There are days that I feel like that kid." Immediately the school sprung into action bring therapists to talk to him and getting linked with help cope with these emotions, and the student is now feeling less angry, getting the help he needs and doesn't want to hurt anyone his school now. The guys said that he feels really bad that Chardon has had to go through all this seeing as we are so small. I told him that I was relieved to hear his story, that if some good could rise from such tragic events, then it wasn't all in vain. ♥ CHS
