Heartbeat
My appointment date finally arrived!!
I went to a prenatal appointment today, had a new doctor. Her bed side manners were much better than the first doctor. I think I am going to stick with this new doctor, she explained things better. She didn't look at me like I was stupid when I would ask questions either.
To the important stuff!!! I didn't get an ultrasound, but she did order me some. After she explained to me what was going to be done at my next appointment, she and her student pulled out the Doppler!!
After a few tries, and some extra movement, I heard my baby's little yet fast heartbeat. Oh my! I started crying, because it was just so beautiful. My ex, was crying too, we may not be together, but he's involved and I'm grateful.
It definitely gave me a reality check. I'm actually going to be a mother, holy bananas! I will never forget that sound.
May 14th I am scheduled for ultrasounds, pictures and a NT scan! I still need to keep praying for a healthy baby!
