HME 2008 Utrecht: Day 3
That’s it already, the first day I thought “this is going to be a looooooooooong weekend” but it ended quit fast. Specially today it flew by! Probably because I started to know my 2 chaparones better but ah well.. Tomorrow I go back to my normal life again and even have to directly start working again. After a weekend of gaming most of the time, you should think “now she probably had enough for a few days” but the moment I arrive home I have to start playing counter strike again. I wonder if I’m still able to play this game and don’t shoot with my ak on the ground like with the rocket launcher, I won’t have to try stafe jumping in cs either!
Anyway today was my favourite day! Why? I am not sure, I lost again 2 times and got analized by many spectators. Yet again they noticed how I had the same routine, mostly the guys that where watching me for a while were the ones I struggled the most against.
Sometimes my jumping went so fast I started jumping against walls and miss my turns etc… and of course after a while the guys noticed that I struggle to hit them once they start jumping around. I asked them to stand still sometimes but they never listened! Those asses!
Another really nice moment was when we did the giveaway at the booth. All people could enter this contest with the only condition they would be at the booth at 15h sharp! Then I had to grab a name out of a box and the ones picked could win gfx cards or a airbrushed pc case. While we were waiting we threw some goodies in the public, it’s fun to be in the booth for one time when that happenes!
In the end hardware.info came by for a short interview with me and later will Bill cause he didn’t like that I got the attention this time instead of him haha
In the end I watched the 2 guys break up the booth, it’s fun to watch people work! I did my work anyway, playing quake is concentration!
I hope I sleep as good as I did yesterday night, this time I won’t have Ben to go to the bar with untill I’m tired enough to sleep though… !
Oh and I uploaded pictures in my gallery!
