Another enemy down!
Here I am again! For some reason I feel the need to update you guys with the things me and my team did every week. The girls have become very important to me in this short time, lately I feel like I'm playing a lot of CS and people are telling me I hardly ever talk to them anymore. I think all of our hours are really paying off for the team though, we have a nice chemistry going on between the members both in and outside the game. Our teamplay is coming together but it's far from perfect. Everytime we go on the server and play a game, mistakes are corrected but of course we don't forget to have fun!
Tuesday we played our last Enemy Down game in the Winter Cup II before the quarter finals which was best of 3 maps. The first map we played was de_inferno and we kind of owned that game. I've always hated this map but now I got to say I really like it! Everything goes so smooth, our rushes B or A not counted though but ok it's nothing we can't work on! We won with 16-3 and went pretty confident to the next map which was de_dust2. Bad! We couldn't get it together for some reason, maybe we were too confident and our concentration had faded away (mine was at least since I was pretty tired). That's no excuse of course! We fought for every round but didn't quite make it. We lost this map with a 16-12 score, 1-1 up to the next map, de_cbble!
Unfortunatly I couldn't play anymore, it got pretty late because they were quite slow playing enemies. I work at night and had to leave around 11 PM, during work I recieved a text message from KiTTy-KaT:
That means we are off to the quarter finals! *fingers crossed for the next game*
Something else, I spoke about it in my last blog and it's coming closer! Next weekend I'll be going to Holland for the convention where I have to play QuakeIII at the Sapphire booth.
For those who are going:
Hall 10BV/Stand number A026
Note it down and come say hi!
I'm getting pretty nervous and a lot of things are going through my head at the moment. A lot of girly things, like should I go to the hairdresser before? What do I have to wear? which clothes im gonna take? What shoes I have to put on? mh it's a convention so I better take my sneakers but.. I like to look good so maybe I have to take my high heels afterall?
Damn! It's so hard beeing a girl!
