"Never Wipe It Away"

Tears come strolling over my face,
drenching the hair covering my fears,
sullen eyes don't even feel the perspiration
of the unforgotten years

a stable person would wipe their tears away,
and hide the emotion behind false smiles,
but I know the insane's secret to happiness
lies in tear streakes that last for miles,

these tears won't dry up,
cause I want them to last,
to remind me how I'll never be,
a weaker person locked in my past,

and I'll never wipe it away,
these tears will turn to dust,
blow in the wind,
and will only be forgotten if they must,

tears keep rolling,
and life keeps on calling
keep on moving
but the remains I'll be leaving

so that I don't repeat my mistakes
so I know the difference between the realists
and the fakes.
