Steam Error.

everytime i try to open up steam, i keep getting this error pop-up.

"Steam.exe ( main exception ) the registry is in use by another process, timeout expired"

i miss Counter-Strike...help?

try reinstalling it see what happens

but first try to uninstall completely then reinstall it

iv'e tryed uninstalling and reinstalling before, same thing. :(

thanks for posting up those links saphira, i think ever sence i got a program called 'Tune Up Utillities 2006' thats when it started happening, that might be what it is.
