That's good to know I hope it get's to a point where girls just kick every guys asses or at least those that say girls don't play video games. I still lose to my best friend so that is more then enough proof that girls have just the same skillz in games then the guys.

Hopefully people will stop calling them "gamer girls" and just call them for what they are, "gamers" or is it with a z?

So besides the girls you know in pms are more of your offline friends becoming more interested in gaming then? At game stores I do notice more than there was 5 years ago. 38% seems a little high, but I suppose it depends on what area you live in.

That's so great! Gaming communities that support other girls are so great and welcoming... I'm glad this site is getting more media attention :D

I think it is fantastic that XBOX live has opened up a way to communicate beyond the Internet. I am a recruit and been trying to keep up with practice for over a month. I've met an incredible massive group of women and a few guys too that are genuinely fun and make gaming a great hobby and/or sport. It can only get better!

Great to see more press about this subject. The community has been growing for a while, but once the mainstream media starts picking up on it, you know it's getting big. Great job!

I dont post as much as I used to but here goes my monthly inspirational rant:

I would thank Xbox Live for introducing more people into the online gaming world. I must frown at the way in which a large portion of those new people were welcomed. Racist, bigoted, and insensitive people thrive in our online nests more than ever. I hope that all of us here in our community, especially PMS and H2O members, do what we can to make all avenues of gaming safer for females, children, and anyone who picks up a mouse or controller. Strive to be more than just a competitor, be the first good will ambassadors in the electronic age. Saying "Good game" or typing "GG", EVEN a ":)" can go a long way in making someone you don't know feel better. You can't choose to be a role model, but you can lead by example. I wait for the day I read the article that says "PMS/H2O, great gamers, even better people".
